"Your sarcasm is cute, but you don't have to use it so often." He was smiling.
"This is a pretty open place to meet your student."
"Which is true." Nodding his head but not dropping my hand or creating a space between us.
"Okay. Sooo still haven't told me the purpose of me being here." I laughed lightly. My palm was beginning to become sweaty and my heart was beating so fast. Extremely fast.
"I wanted to see you." He bit out truthfully.
"Well you see me." My voice was barely above a whisper but some how he heard me and stepped closer.
"Which is also true."Oh God, he was leaning down. Was he going to kiss me? Who am I kidding, he was going to kiss me. He was moving so damn slow. Slower than Carter and this was becoming blissful torture.

"How many romance books do you read?" Devin asks me. I shrug. "I like them," I say. I keep browsing, running my fingers along the spines. "So, you like romance then?" he asks me. I nod. "What's your favorite part of a love story?" "I like the very first kiss, but I like the second one even more," I say. I bite my lip and look at him. Oh. My. God. What the hell am I doing? Am I flirting? I think that I'm actually flirting. With Devin. Devin, my best friend. I have officially lost my mind. I should probably stop. But I can't seem to. "Will you grab me that one?" I ask. I point above my head, my back's pressed against the bookcase. He locks his gaze on mine and reaches over me to grab the book I asked for. "Thanks." I don't move and neither does he. Riley and Devin have been best friends forever-since Kindergarten. It's Senior year of high school, now. And it's always been simple, Riley's got his back, he's got hers. But as life goes on Riley can't help but wonder if maybe he's not just her best friend, if she likes him as possibly something more. As her feelings deepen and become something greater it becomes more evident that she's falling, really hard. No matter how hard Riley tries she can't stop falling, she can't stop from loving him. Even if it tears her to pieces or even if it destroys their friendship. Pretty soon Riley is going to have to choose between walking the safe line of friendship or taking the unpaved path of love. Will she risk everything for love?

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart. "New student, right?" the Principal asked me. I nodded meekly, hoping that he would turn out to be a patient suffering from short term memory loss and would forget about detention but his next words confirmed how rotten my luck was! "Mr Spencer, Ms Wilson" he began in an icy calm voice," creating a raucous in the corridors right outside my office isn't exactly a heroic thing to do. Both of you have an option of either a week detention together or a two week detention together." My eyes shot wide open, "One week detention with him! That's practically impossible for humankind!" "I don't want to risk my bright IQ by serving detention with this psycho!" I heard Spencer jerk protest. "You have an IQ???" I looked at him, giving my best shocked expressions, "Is it the joke of the decade or joke of the century???" "Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly. My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school. And when that popular nerd turns out to be her brother's best friend....well things don't really uncomplicate. Add to this generous amounts of classes, detentions, friends, enemies, crushes, heart breaks and Andrea is all set to have an eventful year in High School that she was for sure not looking forward to! ~*~~*~*~~*~ #7 in Teen Fiction 4.5.16

"I am... frustrated." I began. Okay now he was really amused. The fucking bastard; he was grinning like the bitch he was. I rolled my eyes. "I'm sure you could find someone to help you out with your... frustration." He tried to sound as serious as he could but he didn't manage that very well. "I don't want to sleep with a random guy. I want to..." I took a deep breath, blushing like a 7 year old. "I want to do it myself." "Okay. But...?" He was confused. Yeah time to explain that I've had sex with a lot of guys but I don't know how to make myself come. Great; that's going to be fun. "I've never..." "You're a virgin?" He asked shocked and I chocked on my saliva. "No, you fucking idiot. I've never masturbated." "Oh." Now he was the one blushing and avoiding my gaze. I love karma. "I've heard a lot of girls talking about how good you are in bed. So... any advice?" ••••• If you've been at your lowest you can only go up, right? Nahhh... You can go so much lower I can't even begin to describe it. Your parents telling you they're not actually your parents isn't so bad, leaving your boyfriend and your life to go to a boarding school isn't so bad, being hunted down by your dad's killer isn't so bad. But being attracted to your very charming, very hot and very unstable PE teacher is very bad. Especially if you've known him since you were a child and he is 10 years older than you. But hey, bad choices make great stories, or so they say. ⚠️Trigger warning This book contains graphic scenes that depict violence, sexual abuse and drug addiction. This book is not fully edited.

"So what's your type?" "What do you mean?" I pause, looking up from my book to meet the eyes of my dear friend. "Type of what?" She shakes her head with a chuckle. Her head then jerks to her boyfriend, busy trying to figure out a solution in his work. "What type of guy do you like?" "I don't really have one." I reply. "Come on, there must be something a guy does that catches your attention." My eyes casually glance around the courtyard, trying to figure out a quick response to her question. But then I hear a voice speak just to the right of us, Professor Abel happily talking to Mr. Levine. "Well?" "Older." I mumble. "Someone older." "Just older?" His deep grey eyes soften slightly in the sunlight. "Someone... colder too." "So you want someone as bad as Professor Abel?" My friend jokes poking my side with her fingers. I snap my head back to her, surprised at her question. To brush off the embarrassment I shrug my shoulders, faking a smile but my heart is pounding furiously. "Haha, very funny." It's as if our conversation has been leaked when my eyes rest back on the tall individual. The grey swirls are staring right back at me, his colleague oblivious of his wandering eyes. His expression is stern but in the light it seems as though his lips are curled up, making my stomach do a flip. "My type." I whisper with a small smile. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. I sighed disappointed.
