This story is A/U.   It is inspired from the 1989-1991 TV series, "The Young Riders." 

The Young Riders is a fictional T.V. show, loosely based on the approximately 18 month span of the Pony Express.

Caroline is a sweet and caring person who's always caring about everyone's feelings. Caroline has just finished her Clinical rotations for becoming a Veterinarian which has been her dream for the longest time. She has worked on her grandpa's farms her whole life tending to the horses, riding, roping, bronc riding, and barrel racing so there's not a whole lot she can't do. What will Amy do, her Grampa said to her that this was a chance of a Lifetime and not to worry about Heartland as they'll Just buy and breed more Cattle. Of course things take a different turn due to Ty's insecurities and while Amy's in the USA with Dark Horse, Calamity Strikes of Biblical proportions sending the US into turmoil with help being offered from the UK and Europe. Ty can't believe what's happened and for the first time in his life he prays that Amy survived, he knows which City she's in so sets off to find her, hoping that the city still exists.
