This story is about a man named James Rockwell accused of a murder he had not committed he is now sentenced to death by the chair he has been put on trial for several years and now the day has come.
A man a Detective Langsting has worked on this case for several years trying to prove this man is innocent he now has three days to get the truth finalized before it's too late. Will he make it or will he be too late? find out in my very own story "Innocence."

My first ever book I wrote three years ago. At some point, it was taken down by me because it had multiple grammar problems that needed to be fixed, but now it's official. Here is a description of the book: "Long ago, Alex was relaxing in his chair, drinking a glass of whiskey and smoking weed along with his friend, dreaming big. Things weren't so bad before, he had an average paid job, a nice custom chopper motorcycle, and a medium-sized apartment. He used to spend money faster than a walk in the park on expensive drinks and drugs until one day...And that one day changed his whole life, from being a party boy to a drug dealer selling high-end drugs on different turfs owned by other gangs in the city for a living. Some time later he met this girl, who turned out to be an assassin sent to kill him, but the hit turned out to be a huge failure. After some time he finds himself becoming a hitman, taking contracts and so earning more money than he ever hoped in his life thanks to this girl for showing him this hidden world, full of blood and madness, where even one dollar can decide your fate, life or death, although things never end well...Or do they? "What could you possibly do to me that you haven't already done?!" My eyes starts to water. This lunatic would hurt her and I knew he would. "I beg you," I tell him. "I'll do anything you want. I could smack you around, take away your fancy cars, and you'd be fine. But if I do this-" I hear Jasmen screaming again. What the hell was he doing to her? I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" I had trouble sleeping that night. I was conflicted. Why would someone be hunting in woods with no game? My mind was telling me not to go back. "Someone was out to get you, why would you go back? You're smarter than that. You were in a clearing; they clearly saw that you were a person and not an animal. Stupid. You're stupid," it said. My curiosity said otherwise. I planned on going back next week. I needed to convalesce for a while after my little excursion. I got up, took some sleeping medication, and drifted off to sleep.
