Juvia is a mermaid who decides that she wants to see the humans. So she decides to go ahead and go up to the surface. As she gets closer she sees a boat; and is immediately drawn to the boat. She swims up to the boat to see more of it. Then suddenly someone smacks into her; and gets her away from the boat. She is immediately surprised by this occurrence is about to tell the person off until she sees a harpoon that would have hit her. As she is about to thank her savior she realizes its a shark! A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school.
