Ashley Dixon, a 16 year old girl, after her carless brother, Merle, carried out his usual antiques and caused chaos with a large herd, Ashely was split up from her older brothers. However hard Daryl constantly tried to regain his little sister, it never succeeded... Until now.

When Glenn and the group find Ashley swarmed by walkers crammed in an army tank, based in the city, they help her out, now its her turn to help them out, they escape the city only to realise that what was coming was even bigger!

Ashely and Carl almost instantly fall for one another, and the urge Carl feels to protect her grows by the day.

In this book Carl will be older than in the first season.
