"Seth Solis..." I whisper my name aloud, tracing the print with my fingertip. Almost instantly, ink swirls off of the page in long strands, flying away from the letters and surrounding me, wrapping around my slender body like an obsidian cocoon.
Suddenly a weight is dropped on my thoughts, and the only thing I feel is a need to go to sleep. Surprise at the abnormality of my situation barely registers in the back of my mind. Letting the darkness consume me, I close my eyes and fall.
Fall, fall, fall
Into the vast unknown.

I screamed at the top of my lungs when he slashed the boy's neck with his claw. The boy next to the dead body stood frozen while he visibly squeezed the boy's head into nothing.
