A would-be vacation takes a sudden turn in the kidnap-capital of the Philippines for Kit and her brother, Wesley. Taken in by a losing group in the criminal underworld, they end up having to teach their 'kidnappers' how to deal with a rival gang known only as the Elites. Kit and Wesley agree to challenge the mysterious gang leader known only by the alias "Karl Rawqer" to show himself.
