Essence has grown up in a perfect life, perfect parents, perfect friends, perfect town. She only now realizes that she might be the only thing out of place in it. When she travels to Britain with her friends, the game starts to change. Essence feels less chained, almost like she has left the chore of her perfectness. Taking risks, she starts to enjoy herself, truly finding out the meaning of life. What starts off as a few consequences turns into a horrific bad luck. Not only does she not hold that perfectness anymore, but now her life is ruled with darkness and messups wherever she goes. As Essence travels to find out what really happened so many years ago; can she find out that only love and friendship can make one truly happy? COVER IS NOT MINE.

Abbey Lane starts her life as a charge in her father's accountants. She never meets him but has everything money can buy. At the age of twenty-two, her life changes. From that day she becomes responsible for her own actions. She finds life is different when you have to make decisions. Now in the real world Abbey does not have a clue and continues as normal. To increase her bank account she and three associates skim banks. Ironically one of the team is obsessed with world peace. Abbey is not but her views have repercussions and her life keeps going wrong. Having entered the labyrinth will she ever leave.
