At the age of nine the voices began to speak. Low at first, like the tide of a lake in the morning. Than they began to rise. It took a few years for the voices to become an uproar but, she knew as much as her family knew. Emma Stonier was cursed just like the next generation after her. Her blue eyes became golden as the town began to speak about her. They all talked about how they saw Emma doing witchcraft in her basement. The whole town turned on her when she was only fourteen. Her once pale skin became a honeysuckle tan. Her once thunder thigh legs became long thin ones. She began to change just like the books said she would.
