A horror/thriller based off of the book "The Madman's Daughter" by Megan Shepherd & "The Island of Dr. Moraeu" by H.G. Wells.
Aranea's father stuck himself away in his laboratory after the birth of his 4th child and tragic loss of his wife. With no one controlling her father, his temper does not cease and is always on high alert, keeping his work to himself and his new addition. Aranea's and her two older brother's curiosity grows intensely, beggi ng to see their father's scientific work that brings in so much money. Even though the curiosity enlarges between the three, dates and love interests sneak their way before them, halting the investigation, but for his long? How long can their father's work stay a secret?

To enter high school is hard enough; what with sports, girls/boys and of course homework. Couple you're regular teen angst with a horrible tragedy that leaves you physically and emotionally scarred that's the life of Zach Monroe when his parents are murdered just before he begins his freshman year by an unknown assailant. Then there's Kimberly Adams the beautiful apple of Zach's eye who happens to be the daughter of his soon-to-be high school principal who (but wasn't even going to that school) gets wrapped in the chaos of Zach's life bringing her into a world of love she never knew existed. But beneath the surface of this seemingly random killing lies a secret deeply rooted in conspiracy which brings in super agent Max Crawford aka 'The Microscope'. Any pop culture reference is from that party and I own nothing. Please leave comments. I'm looking to finish and I've never gotten a good peer review of it. I know it needs a ton of editing and there's plenty of spelling and grammar errors. I back up until my spine connects with the elevator doors. I shiver as my bare arms come in contact with the cool metal. "Someone help me, please," I beg. The man stalks closer still. His eyes are fixed solely on me, unmoving, intense. His fists are clutched tightly against his sides, as though restraining himself in some way. Restraining himself from what, I don't want to know. The man stops only an arm's length away from me. I stare up at him with wide eyes, my lips parted in fear. I stand frozen, unable to move. I shut my eyes, turning my head away. Laboured breathing, the touch of fingertips on my bare shoulder, breath on my lips. A heavy, deep inhale. Slow exhale.
