This story is an AU, one in which the Dark Lord made Draco recive the Dark Mark at the end of fourth year, ordering him to repair the Vanishing Cabinet, and to kill the Headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Eventually, Draco will join the Order, and the DA. He tells Harry about the Dark Lord's plans, and saves Sirius.

Draco is only a boy. He is hardly fifteen and is being forced to take the Dark Mark. When he returned to Hogwarts for his fifth year, he finds himself crumbling under the weight of it all. He stops eating, he can't sleep, the blond sometimes wonders if he should just die just so he wouldn't have to finish the mission. And on top of it all, Draco fancies Potter. Well that's just how he and the universe rolled these days.

Harry waits for his annual visit from Malfoy on the Hogwarts express, but he never comes. Harry soon finds himself watching the Slytherin, and noticing through out the year, how thin and fragile he looks, the dark bruises under his eyes, his pale complexion, and his lack of Malfoy Swagger™.
