Alessia Salvatore is Stefan's twin sister. She was left behind and forgotten about by her brothers who were under Katherines control.  So she choose to leave and go her separate way. Choosing to lead her own path to live without them.

Along the way she stumbles across a handsome and mysterious stranger named Klaus who promised to love and care for her. To show her the world. They even got married. 

Everything soon started to fall apart as Mikael hunted them down. Alessia was caught in crossfire with Marcel and The Mikaelson's left to them burn. 

But she survived that night. 

Now she's been called back to Mystic Falls to her brothers to help kill Katherine.
