-EXCERPT-

I take the palm of my hand and push him against a wall. I lean in and sigh, my lips brushing against his ear.

"You know this would never, ever work. I've very much enjoyed the interest you've taken in me those. But that's all it should be. An interest." I put my body flush against him, hearing him take a deep breath, obviously enjoying the contact.

I pull away, turning on my heel, shaking my head.

"You'll be the death of me, you know." I could hear the smile in his voice. Smug bastard.

I look over my shoulder and glance at him.

"We both know you can't die, Gabriel."

I let out a dry laugh and walk away. The sound of my heels, clicking on the sidewalk.

He's such a fun toy.
