An English Translation of My Immortal

If you're reading this, I assume you know I'm talking about the infamous Harry Potter fanfiction here and not the Evanescence song after which it was named.

Having read the original, I find myself at a loss to describe it to the innocent, pure souls whose eyes have not been assaulted by it. You must read it to understand what I mean - but if you feel like cutting yourself (an activity both Tara, the original author, and Ebony, the main character, seem to enjoy greatly) after doing so, don't say I didn't warn you.

This is a translation of the atrocious spelling and grammar into something marginally resembling decent English. Or any kind of English. Still going to have the exact same words and plot, but at least the spelling and grammar will be corrected.

Or if you already have read My Immortal and didn't understand any of it, here you go. I have a feeling this might be useful. It'll probably take you half the time to get through if it's real English, even with the worst plotline in existence.

This version will exclude the hacker chapter, since that has almost perfect grammar and doesn't need any improvement on my part. That whole chapter was just perfect in general. Seek out the original My Immortal from a different source if you're interested in that. I'll add an Author's Note chapter of my own to let you know where in the story that comes up.
