For Enjolras, the past six months have been the most incredible time of his life. Six months ago, he married his best friend Grantaire.
Life couldn't be any better - and then, in addition to all of the great things going on, he and his business partner, Marius (both of whom are lawyers at Valjean Law Firm), get to take the lead on one of the biggest trials of the decade.
Basically just a fun, domestic, modern day Les Mis story featuring all of your favorite revolutionaries!

Death, with its inky black tendrils and malevolent tendencies, couldn't haunt him in his dreams, because blue eyes and golden hair and kind hands already did. Death couldn't strike him as absolutely paralyzed as life could, which was pathetic, if Grantaire stopped to think about it, because life had nothing on Enjolras. 'My world starts and ends with you', Grantaire thinks. And somehow, because life is cruel and a dark sense of humor apparently comes with the job description, it isn't even a lie. But Grantaire can deal. He can deal because he's dealt before and he's never stopped dealing, and stupid, innocuous things like hearts that beat too fast too loud in certain company, and thoughts that stray too far, and skin that prickles hot when you meet the eyes that greet you in your sleep, can't break a cardboard prince if he believes it hard enough.Complete

Two friends, Marius (born in 1810) and Odette (born in 1813), grew up in the life of the luxury. Their wealth never clouded their judgement, and neither did their poverty when the money was stripped away from them. More like they were stripped away from the money. Odette's mother died when she was fairly young, and after her father remarried, he was shortly reported missing after heading off to battle. A cruel step-mother cut Odette out of the life her parents wanted her to grow up in, and she was forced to work in the streets from age thirteen in 1826 till 1829 when she was reunited with her best friend. And now she works to keep herself and her new found family going, whilst fighting. Fighting hard for a better shot at survival. But what if someone is one her mind?
