9 years after the Dark days in the nation of Panem, there has been a treason written by the capitol. Stating, "Each year, as a reminder of the rebellion against the capitol, each district has to give up one young man and one young woman from the age of 12 to 18, to be sent into a battle arena to fight until one lone victor is left." These games are to be referred to as The Hunger Games. It is the 9th Hunger Games this year, and as a representative of district 4 I (Mags Boxwell), have been chosen. Winning the games will take care of my younger brother and sister, but it will also mean killing a best friend. Losing it, and i'll be added to the death toll in the Hunger Games. This is my story, and May the odds be ever in my favor...
