Paranormal
Ellison had a normal life, but when one of her friends commit suicide, her world is turned upside down. Ellison's mother becomes more and more concerned with her daughters mental state, but things get increasingly worst when Ellison insists she can still see her deceased friend. After a doctors appointment, Ellison's mother takes it upon herself to enroll her daughter in Wildwood Boarding School, just right outside of Stowe Vermont. In other words, it's the "loser school" where all the troubled teens go. But when Ellison arrives and settles in, everything started to make sense. The school wasn't for troubled teens, but for supernatural teens, learning how to control their abilities. While trying to fit in, figuring out her species, and finding out why her friends ghost is haunting her, there's Dex. He's always around to get her out of a sticky situation, and not to mention he's dark, mysterious, and completely sexy. But something feels off about him, he's almost too dark... and too mysterious....

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. A dangerous strangers loves to kill little girls, and his sister Kit
