Amy Nelson and Mark Fischbach.
Two people.
Just people.
Almost nobody's.

Amy has had a terrible life.
She lost her mom because of cancer when she was just a kid.
She hasn't been the same ever since.
Her mom was her best friend and that's when her dad started to change.
He drove her older brother, Nick, away from home and Amy hasn't seen him since.
Amy fell into a terrible state of depression and was locked at home with an abusive father and nobody to help her...
She lost all hope in life and started to self harm.
She felt like life had no meaning anymore...
Then she switched schools.

Mark has had an unbearable life as well.
His dad died last year, when he was 16, from cancer also.
He lost his one true companion and the only person who ever believed in him and his dream of becoming a YouTuber.
His brother went off to college that same year, so it was just him and his mom...
They were getting by, but things were rough for a while.
Once people at school found out about it, they started to make school a living hell for him.
With everything going on, he lost all strength he had and developed depression and started to self harm.
He finally stopped once his bully let up, but it was his drug and every now and then relapsed.
Until he laid eyes on a certain blonde girl.
