Steel was helping Berto test a new invention but it malfunctioned and shrunk steel to about an eighth of an inch tall. Now, Tiny steel is in a miniature protective pod that's attached to max, who is unaware of this til steel tells him, until berto can find a way to fix him.

Bucky is found later with a metal arm and announces that he'll be taking his leave in three days to go home and take care of Steve. Fluffy stucky au. Set in the winter of 1945 and so on.
