There are two types of mythical creatures in this world. Mythesias, sane mythical creatures that abide by supernatural and human laws alike. Then there are the Demens, the crazy creatures who kill without regard. The ones no one wants to run into, the topic of horror movies.
Tamers, are the group of people who maintain the Demens. Technically, highly trained Mythesias each weapon is tailored to a creatures weakness. All Mythesias can be Tamers, but the great majority come from well respected old familes. The majority are vampires, doing the job the longest some look down on other races.The job of the Tamers, is to protect humans and the knowledge of the existence of Mythesias a secret.
Rie Claret who recently turned sixteen has a unusual encounter with a vampire Demens. She is saved by a Tamer but unexpected problems arise. Why won't the usual procedure for a witness of the supernatural work? And what lies in her family heritage she's never known? Since she was adopted.
Things are going to get much stranger and a family of Tamers, vampire tamers are in for a huge surprise.
