Kestrel, age 16, was brought up to be a survival expert. Now living on her own in Indian valley, she gets caught up in an adventure with her wolf companion, Adonis. After being drafted to join the people's war, she finds out who her mother is: The supreme ruler of earth, who has been dictating the human race with an Iron fist. To put an end to the cruelty, Kestrel must find help from friends made along the way. They come across swashbuckling characters in a world of pirates, mermaids, dragons, and spirits. But how could they possibly reach The supreme leader, let alone overthrow her?
