Moving to San Francisco was not on the list of thing's Madison planned on doing in her life. But her mom's new job in the city finds her and her family in an old house on the breezy streets of California, and thing's take a turn for her. She meet's a gang of trouble-making kid's on her street who show her the in's and out's of the city; and more.  Douglas, the leader of this blood-seeking pack, helps Madison break out of her shell and change her.  As the gang shows her the depths of the city and what it has to offer, Madison soon finds herself falling for Douglas. However, 9th grade is fast approaching for her and her newfound friends, and she finds that her old self has vanished. The gang exposes innocent Madison to drugs, alcohol, and even violence. Will she sink to peer pressure or rise up above them? 
  Overtime Madison learns the true colors of Douglas and his gang, and discovers so much more than she ever though imaginable.
