As an orphan, Emma Johnson never exactly believed in miracles or magic of any kind. Or even the proclaimed superheroes everyone loved. That all changed the fateful night when she was mugged and attacked. At that point in her life, she had come to the conclusion that she wouldn't amount to much, and as she lied half-conscious on the ground, she couldn't help but think that she deserved this kind of death. She didn't want it, but it seemed appropriate to someone with nothing to call her own. Then in swoops in her own personal superman, saving her and taking her back to his place where she wakes up the next day. She is then surprised to find that everything she thought was fake before, was suddenly coming to life before her eyes. The only problem is... he's 10 years old. Jeremy can't be a hero. His mom won't even let him mow the yard yet. How is he supposed to stop an evil Prince? This book has action, adventure, magic, and mystery that will have young kids wanting to be the main character. His family is involved in his alternate world escapades. He learns from a high functioning autistic witch, who is a savant with magic. The realities of traveling by foot and camping out are not lost on the main character and he must learn a lot while on the go to his epic battle. The only question is; How is he supposed to save a world he knows nothing about?
