Disclaimer: This fanfiction takes place in an alternate timeline where none of the events in the actual season 3 of H2O Just Add Water has happened. Plot: When new girl Bella moves to the sunny Gold Coast, it doesn't take long for Rikki and Cleo to realize that their not the only mermaids in town anymore. On a walk along the beach at Mako, Bella makes a chocking discovery. In the sand lies a fourth locket, identical to the ones that Max made. When the girls confront him about, they discover a part of the history that has been kept from them. A tale about a fourth mermaid who swam out to Mako during a full moon, and was never seen again.
