I walk along. My feet padding silently against the floor of the stark, cold hallway as it stretches out in front of me. I am in my mother's dream. She doesn't know it. I slip through as softly as a cloud caught in a peaceful breeze.
I am here to help her, but she will never know that. No one ever will. People never remember my visits in the waking hours. I'm a nocturnal guide. I'm pulled into the dreams of those that need me the most. I guide them through the jumbled mess in their minds, trying to free them from what troubles them. I don't know why I can do this. It's as much a part of me as my big feet or my brown curls.
It is what I've always done. Unfortunately, it is what I'll always do.
Whether I like it or not.

Cassie O'Bryan is not your typical high school student. At night, she is pulled into people's dreams, guiding them through anything the mind needs to work out. She was born with this gift, or as Cassie feels, a curse.
When her fellow classmates start falling into unexplained comas, it seems it might be linked to disturbances in the dream world. What is stalking dreams, turning them into nightmares, and reaping children's souls? Cassie must use her gift to find the answers. Along the way, she just might find out who she really is as well.

And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete

She faces the deaths of people close to her all because of the visions she has been having and the night mares that brings out the truth about everything. Will she be able to survive through everything that comes at her and will there be no hope left for Nicole Anderson. .......
