My lungs burn as I know I'm running out of air. I keeping kicking the window, finally, I feel the glass starting to crack. I kick it one more time, the glass shatters allowing the water to rush in, filling the car. The air starts to leave my body as swim. I know at that moment there's no way we're all making it out of this.
Pulling myself up onto the bank, shivering as the cold air freezes my wet body. Tired I lay there hoping I go fast. I pass out as the cold envelopes me.

Well, less of a pull and more of a gentle suggestion. It worked and the boy stumbled down off of the edge. The boy started to cry. How could he be so weak that a boy, the same age as him, who seemed to have the same ideas and hatred toward himself as he, could keep him from stepping off? The other simply gently led him to his vehicle and took out a water bottle out of the backseat. The boy took it and looked at it suspiciously. "It's untampered, look, it's still sealed." He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. The wail of sirens echoed throughout the hospital as the emergency room doors burst open. Two individuals were being carted in while another gurney was carrying someone draped in a white cloth. It was too late for them. I could just barely hear what the paramedics were yelling to the doctors as they rushed to the operating room. "Car crash. Must have lost control. Both middle aged men. One is Native-American with long black hair and light brown eyes. He has multiple lacerations to the abdomen, his skull was fractured, left knee cap shattered, and internal bleeding." the young man explained. "The other is Caucasian with blonde hair and green eyes. His neck is broken, there are four fractures along his spine, we think his spleen might have burst, and there is a large piece of the car door sticking out of his chest. Possibly the handle. Both are in critical condition. There was a third passenger, but she was gone before we got to them." A louder sob ripped through my chest, my entire body shuddering from the force of it. Tears began streaming down my face faster than I could wipe them off. I wrapped my fingers around my ears the same way I did that night, silently begging the memories to go away. Before I knew it, I was rocking back and forth. "It's all my fault I should've died Should still be here All my fault Should be dead Take me Suffering Can't take it Find your happy place Find your happy place Find your happy place." It was a rush of hatred mixed with sarcasm that killed her. One bullet to her chest and then another and another, until she slouched her way down to the floor, covering the white walkways with red. Her now leaving me in a cold trance at the tiny framed friend of mine on the floor, well that is until I looked up to the barrel of the gun pointing at me now. My heart clenching together underneath my skin, pulse raising as I attempt to make sense out of all this, and the brief illusion of a shadow on the wall behind her, all tease me when I’m trying to think if this is all true. That’s when it happens; his dark hair flowing in his eyes from his lack of going to the hair cutter and his violet eyes deepening the stare between the two of us. Don’t shoot! I’ll do anything! Just don’t kill him. My thoughts scream at me, making my line of concentration grow slimmer with each word. Tears begun to fill the bottom of my eyes, my throat closing to the full extent, my ever so calm hands were trembling at my hips and the requirement of breath vanish from my lungs. His hands run out to calm this girl, speaking softly and letting her know that it will be alright if she simply lets us go. And just as she starts to give in to his pervasive act, the fire alarm sets off, sending her in a protective fury of gunshots. Hitting him dead on. Felt like a bullet to my heart.Complete
