Lilly, a hard-working and ambitious young professional, loves her job but hates her boss. Lilly's Manager, Amy, is a nightmare to work with and eventually sabotages Lilly's job and gets her fired. Hurt and betrayed, Lilly decides to get even by "getting rid of Amy" with the help of her co-workers, Janice and Loretta. Getting rid of Amy, however, takes a strange twist. Packed with comedic misadventure, Lilly and her friends go down a road they had never dreamed of.

Lily and Emily have been best friends since childhood, living in the small town of Handyhow. They share everything, from secrets to dreams, and support each other through thick and thin. Lily is unaware of Emily's true intentions and trusts her blindly. But when she finds out the truth, she is devastated and heartbroken. She confronts Emily, who shows no remorse and mocks her for being naïve. Lily realizes that Emily was never a real friend and decides to cut her off from her life. She leaves Handy How with a bitter taste in her mouth and vows to never trust anyone blindly again.
