Midnight Chimes follows the travels of Cecilia Gates and Alexander Bennett after a demon destroys the Archive, a place built to house ancient magical artifacts and their history. Not only are all the beings inside let loose upon the world, but Cecilia's mentor Everard Kadwell has disappeared, taking the Codex Requiem with him.
