"The first seventeen years of my life, I was a dead girl walking. I was made blind by too much darkness and deaf by too many voices. My life began with the roughness of blue scales and an unexpected car trip into the woods. My life began with the company of seven other kids, just as lost as myself. My life began when it was under the most threat of falling apart. Funny how these things work out." Or, similarly, a retelling of the trials and tribulations of growing up like any other normal kid. Of course, with the added bonus of powers beyond your frame of belief, a ruthless government out for our blood and a big business willing to take whatever means to once again secure their greatest creations. This is story of my life, and how it got tenfold more interesting when I learned to live it right. Welcome aboard.

"Just because we win the war doesn't mean we don't lose everything in the process." - Joey Magnom --------- Practically everyone dreams of having superpowers. Lift a building, breathe underwater, fly. But at such a cost? Morgan would very happily shove it back to wherever it came from. In a close future, certain children and teenagers suddenly begin to exhibit their own unique superpowers. In order to contain them, keep the secret, and abuse these young adults' power for their own advantage, the government hunted them down and opened camps to train and brainwash these 'supernaturals' in cruel ways. It didn't matter if the child was five or eighteen; they'd take them and give them the same horrible treatment. Morgan was hunted and taken. Rylie was not. Morgan Carter was put in the camps and wasn't able to come out the same way she came in. She became their pet telekinetic/assassin, ready to kill and torture without hesitation and knew how to. She forgot her old life, including her name. Rylie Garner paraded as Light Glider around his city-their own personal superhero-escaping being caught with the help of his friends while trying to find his little supernatural sister, who was taken. But then, their stories began to intertwine. --------- Completed/Being Rewritten
