Eren thought that Levi would get better...but he never did. Instead, he left him all alone to suffer through the aftermath alone in a cold, lonely apartment. Night after night, day after day...Eren slowly wasted away. He couldn't sleep; his mind was plagued by nightmares and memories too painful to remember. He couldn't eat; he always felt like he would throw up his food as soon as he took a bite of something.
There was really only one thing that he could do: try to hold himself together.
