Jasmine White, moves to Africa with her parents who are environmental researchers. She soon befriends a black panther cub who refuses to leave her alone. The two become best friends, and Jasmine names him Simba (a character in her favorite movie The Lion King). The only problem is, her parents don't know she has him, and her father would do tests on him if he found out. So she has to keep it a secret.
