They said strange things happened near it-sightings, creepy noises, people disappearing. Sometimes I believed the rumours; sometimes I was sceptical. But it didn't really make a difference. The tree was there, and sometimes, they said, it whispered to you.

There was a story my grandmother used to tell me about the woods outside my house. She said that there were monsters Lurking deep in the shadows that watched and waited for children to enter so they could gobble them up. I knew that she said it to scare me out of the woods. Only problem is that it didn't work. The deep dark Forrest called to me like no other. It was like that is where I belonged not out on the streets playing kick ball like all the other kids. I was supposed to be running through the trees feeling the wind rush past me. This is the story of how I discovered that the monsters lurking in the Forrest were real.
Be Careful, Child (A Two-Part Short Story)
"Long ago in Silva Hills, a sudden noise of loud music and laughter echoed throughout the dark parts of the forest one night. The citizens who lived nearby were shaken awake by the sounds and were left sleepless. It was said that five people volunteered to investigate the source of the racket. The sounds stopped an hour later but....the group were never seen again. Some believed that whatever was out there, got to the unfortunate people while some think the group is stuck in some place and they can't get out. Either way, no one really knows for sure what happened to them." This story soon became a rumor the following years to come. Older people would use this tale to scare off children wandering in the woods at night. Pranksters would sometimes report that they've heard the same strange sound described in the story; and this is why everyone starts to debate whether this narrative is fictional or real. A newcomer will soon uncover whether this tale told by the townsfolk is true or not as an unintentional instinct leads her to where it is. But will the truth ever be revealed? They say there is a land where every creature lives together in peace and harmony, from unicorns to dragons. They call it the "whispering forest." It has been said that those who enter do not come back. It has not been decided whether it is by choice or by force, but they never return. However, there is a rumor that old man Alfred had been there and confirmed the rumors; he said it was the most beautiful place on earth and he left to protect the creatures that lived there. People think he is crazy and just ate some mushrooms and hallucinated it all, but I believe him.Complete
