Harlow Valesco was the new kid at William B. Travis Prep School, and she didn't expect to be surrounded by so many new friends -- they were her cousin, Tomika's friends, though. Something was off with them and their teacher, Mr. Finn, and Harlow wanted to figure out what it was. When she did, she and her new partner-in-crime, Riley Kwon, were determined to come out on top. What would happen when competition rose between Harlow and those she loved most?

Harlow Velasco and Riley Kwon were on probation with the band, School of Rock. After the Battle of the Bands bonanza, the two girls were stuck doing the lowly tasks for the band -- getting them coffee, tuning the guitars, and so many other mundane things. Harlow knew she needed to get on their good side to live her dreams, and maybe date the cute guy in the band. So what did she do? Live as a personal assistant to School of Rock or forge her own path in the band?

Harlow Velasco's summer was one of boredom and songwriting, which was the usual way her summers always went. A new school year was upon Travis Prep School, and after the way the last school year went with the Battle of the Bands, entrance into the band, and a semi-failed relationship, Harlow was excited to lay low and write songs. Things went downhill once again when something unexpected happened. How many times would Harlow nearly wreck the band before she learned better?

Harlow Velasco was excited for another summer, and she just wanted to relax after School of Rock revealed their identities at the Austin Music Festival. The past two years were hard for her and the band, showcasing the amount of heartache they went through just to get to the horrible place they were in. When things were looking bleak, an amazing opportunity arose, one that Harlow and the rest of School of Rock couldn't turn down. Would the band come back together in full force, or were they going to break up?
