Lauren is plainly a girl who got abandoned by her mum. That's normal right? She lives with her aunt in Liverpool now and her favourite place to go is Camelot Theme Park. It's not a normal theme park though, this one got shut down years ago, that's why she loves it so much. While there she meets a boy called Dan, she doesn't really understand why he is there but when a part of rollercoaster almost kills her and it gets pushed to side in the mid-air. She needs answers.
