I take a huge step back as Cole takes a step towards me and furrow my brow in confusion before laughing.

"Scared? Of what?" I ask, realizing that he had me caged in against the wall.

"Of me. The way I make you feel."

"You don' make me feel anything, Matthews. I'm not affected by anything that you do." I lie, a smirk on my face for pulling it off.

"Prove it then. Kiss me, Katie."

Katie Holmes, every guys dream girl. She's perfect; extraordinary even. From clubbing with her girls, to date nights with football players. Life is good.

Until, Cole Matthews shows up, that is.

When Katie Holmes goes home to see her parents and her best friend, Julie, she realizes that she never truly got over Cole. Not wanting to fall too hard for him, Katie goes by her motto (Avoid, ignore, and forget. But Cole has a motto himself: 'Kisses, nights out together, and hoax engagement'?

When Cole does something that jeopardizes his career, he racks his brain for a way to fix it. As he thinks about it, it hits him: Tell the press that he's engaged to Katie Holmes. Katie is not only flattered with the news, but she's also livid that he didn't ask her for her opinion first. After thinking about it, she decides to go along with it. But of course, like every fake engagement, there are rules:

Rule 1: Don't tell anyone that the engagement is just a hoax

Rule 2: No kissing or intimate moments (Unless cameras are around)

Rule 3: NO FALLING IN LOVE

Will the be able to follow said rules or will the break one of them, or two, or even all off them?
