Freya along with her two friends Liz and Skyler find themselves in detention after school. They are starting to become worried after hearing about the mysterious and deadly disease that is rapidly spreading across the globe. Helicopters and jets flying overhead become more regular. It's not until a bus full of kids runs into the front doors of the school, and they find that this disease isn't any ordinary cold, but a disease that brings people back from the dead and makes them acquire the taste for human flesh. They call them crawlers. Now Freya, Liz, Skyler and a few staff members are trapped in the school, and they are not alone. They must escape and find a place to go where they will be safe from the crawlers. They will try to survive in a world full of the undead.

Once New Orleans became infected with the "Dark flu" everything changed. School became a doctors appointment and adults beame freakishly worried parents. Just as everyone was getting used to the daily checks, the flu suddenly became deadly. But not everyone is staying dead. Carmen, a normal 17 year old student become's a leader of a group of scared teenagers defending themselves against the walking dead, while trying to stay alive and find safe ground, Romace sparks, voilence grows and friendship becomes the only upperhand. Will Carmen and all her pack survive? Or will corpses rule in this Zombie Apocalypse?
