Don't help me, I'm choking

In a world where survival of the fittest is more literal than just a saying, where vast, deserted wastelands full of flesh craved nano-organisms and forests swarmed with mutated animals and moving trees are 'the norm'.
Where whole cities are built on-top of the ocean because it's the only thing that's empty and not trying to kill them.
But there are some that venture onto land, we call them finders.
Among the finders there are Rigs, Savarians And the Toys.
Arina "Rin" Lancaster is a Savarian, someone who scavenges to survive, usually from other finders and sometimes even from the settlers (live on the ocean).
