Iridescent - adjective;
Showing luminous colours that seem to change when seen from different angles.

Maybe Draco Malfoy wasn't what he seemed. All those years Harry had only seen one side of him. He had only seen the black and white side of him. The melancholy, irritable, dangerous side of him. Maybe harry just needed to look closer and see the reds, oranges, and yellows. The passionate, enticing side, full of love and kindness. But to get there he has to endure the pain. The greens, blues, and purples of Draco's suffering that lead him to his only known escape. Suicide. From that, the two boys rekindle the flame. Only this time they are not enemies on a battlefield, but something stronger, driven by love. A force to be reckoned with...

Ladies and gentlemen and those of you who don't identify as either. I present to you my first ever drarry fanfiction. These characters belong to the lovely J.K Rowling. I just have the pleasure to give them a new perspective. So sit back, relax, and enjoy my fanfic.

Falling Through the Cracks | Eighth Year

26 parts Complete Mature

In their eighth year at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy is quietly unraveling. Plagued by crippling depression and anxiety, he battles the weight of his past-his family's betrayal, his role in the war, and the shadows that never seem to fade. Harry Potter, on the other hand, is haunted by the lingering effects of his PTSD, the scars of war still fresh in his mind. Together, they're two broken souls, struggling to function in a world that's moved on without them. When their paths cross once more, a fragile understanding forms between them, each sensing the other's pain. As they grow closer, they find that they might be the only ones who truly understand what the other is going through. Through quiet nights of vulnerability and shared silence, they begin the slow, painful process of healing, learning that sometimes, being broken doesn't mean you can't fix each other. But the road to recovery is never easy, and the shadows of their pasts threaten to tear them apart. Can love be the thing that saves them both? Or will they fall apart before they can ever truly come together?
