Sarah Anderson is a young, joyful person. She's kind and hardworking, loyal to her friends, and socially awkward. She's also very shy and, when it comes to boys, she has a hard time interacting with them.  In the presence of dangerous situations, she normally doesn't run from them, she confronts them although, inside, it scares her.

When she enters her new home, an inheritance from her deceased grandfather, she encounters five injured, yet very handsome men on the lobby floor. She unravels an incredible truth: they are incubi, 'demons who consume and use the sexual energy of humans to survive'.  And, quickly, finds herself living with a band of incubi brothers, James the eldest one, Erik the second eldest, Sam the hotheaded demon, Mathew the youngest one, and Damien the bastard son.

A couple of months in, after acknowledging her romantic interest for the second eldest brother, Sarah starts having nightmares concerning herself and him, escalating to receiving consecutive threats from an ex-betrothed, Irene, a Succubus. She uses the human's girl insecurities to snatch the Incubi from her. Sarah sees herself obliged to follow her to the Abyssal Plains, the boys' home, and reverse a Binding Ritual in order to bring Erik back with her to the Human World. There, she finds the help of another Succubus, Diana, the princess of The Lilith Kingdom, alongside with Saero, a Nephilim. Despite the group's efforts, things end badly for Sarah and the Angels are called to step in. With no memories of what happened during those months to the day of her high school graduation, will she still have her happy ending?

AN: This story is being COMPLETELY reworked as I prepare to update and start on 'Tori' again. It originally debuted in August of 2017 on AO3. I try to leave most of my older work alone, maybe fix some grammatical and spelling errors but otherwise: I don't touch them. That being said, I've been promising the next work in this series for a long while now and I just can't write the next story without fixing this one first. It's... so bad, guys. It just is. Like, it's supposed to be somewhat like an Otome on the realism scale, but even with that, there are some parts of this that I am literally choking on. So I'm re-doing it. The story line will still be mostly the same, but we're going to flesh out these characters a bit, add some continuity in the POVs, and make some pieces a bit more realistic. If you truly liked the old one and I am messing up your world, I really am sorry. That being said, this is turning out being quite a bit darker in language and imagery than the original, so keep that in mind. I think it makes the Demon Lord a much more true to canon character, but you'll have to make your own judgements. As of right now, Chapters 1-4 have been reworked.
