After graduating from college, John Laurens is struggling to get back on his feet financially. He manages to loose both of his jobs and even his apartment. Determined to get out of the mess he is in, he refuses help from anyone else.
But, one day, Laurens gets himself into a situation that has him unable to care for himself. Like some kind of angel, a rich lawyer named Alexander Hamilton comes to his aid. Why?
