This is a story of corruption. Most people blind themselves to stay pure, but some choose the truth. The paths that bind and seperate us, Jax Ryoma learned that firsthand.

Jax was the son of the king. Jax's father, Rainus Ryoma, had led the Kingdom of Arcadia gracefully for the last decade, all alongside his queen, Isabel.

But everything changed when the royal couple was assassinated by a man with supernatural powers, all in front of Jax's very eyes.

Unusually quickly, the throne is taken up by the lower lords who seemed to see it coming. The country is cast into disarray, and nothing is as it should

Worse yet, Jax has been framed as the murderer by the usurpers, and his name is scorned throughout the kingdom.

But Jax wants revenge, and he wants the truth, even if he has to become just like the very man that took his parents away.

Can he hold onto the light, in a world of shadows and deceit? Or will he be corrupted just like the rest of them?

Or is light and dark just an illusion.
