The year everything went back to normal
Kyle Anderson, who goes by Kabe, lives in a small town where everyone knows everything about everyone. He isn't his usual happy-go-lucky self and hasn't been since the house fire that killed his Mom and sister three years ago. His dad has a good paying job and Kabe has a good relationship with him. His friends have stuck with him ever since the fire. They worry about him because his personality has changed severely over the years, like he doesn't laugh or smile, and he doesn't talk much unless he absolutely has too. "'Bye.' I say after Edwin's kiss. He gives me a small smile that honestly looks more like a grimace. It makes me a little uncomfortable having him kiss me in the library. Edwin walks away, and someone standing in the corner of my vision makes me turn in my seat. A tall, muscular man is standing there, his arms crossed, staring at me.
