It's hard to play solitaire in a world where no one understands you.
They say madness is the emergency exit.
"Solitaire" is the story that will take you there.
A year has passed since the fatal lock down and shooting at East Delavan High school. Robin Wayne, a 17-year old survivor, is trying to forget that day and move on with her life.
But she can't move on if she's living in an asylum now.
Ever since that day, she's been crowded by doctors, scientists and her family members as they try to figure out why she's changed so much.
Most importantly, why her blind eyes can see now.
Robin knows that none of them can understand, except for Damien Isadore - her true friend, who understands what she's going through. As she and Damien live together in the asylum, they know that the life they deserve won't be in there.
Robin realizes she can't walk both paths in front of her. She could follow after Damien, and be by his side for all their lives. Or she could take a step back and retreat to who she used to be, in the world that she used to live in.
But Robin knows one thing:
People die, beauty fades, love changes...
And you're always alone.

But not long after, Jessie is scared the worst of her nightmares will soon become a reality. Josh goes missing, and suddenly Jessie would swear she's being followed. One night changes everything, and one person soon changes Jessie's outlook. A responding officer from that fateful night begins to seek her out, at first claiming it's part of his job. As she spends time with her new friend outside of his job, she starts realizing that her feelings are evolving. After being abused for over a year, Jessie is terrified she's falling in love. What's even more terrifying is that he might be, too. She isn't ready for love. Not yet. Belong Here With Us (Wayne Family Adventure Fan-Fiction) by Beck_Stynes_027
12 parts Ongoing
"That name's familiar, right, Mr. Wayne?" Gotham City's vigilantes find a mysterious young woman in building rubble, unharmed but shaken. No reason for being there, no origin, record or trust, even in the Batfamily. Then she drops a bombshell; she knows who Batman is and she's determined to face him. After outracing death, unprocessed demons of the past and present have caught up. Her refusal to trust anyone brings tension to the Batfamily and envelops the Justice League, exposing her connection to a man whose very moniker makes them wonder if she's trustworthy. Why pursue them, or what chased her to? Walls must crumble on each side to help who she was before emerge--from memories even she's reluctant to acknowledge. She may also just be a kindred spirit; damaged. Dark connections are never evident, and unimaginable worlds exist outside your comfortable cities or worst nightmares... but love, family and loss is universal. Mourning alone, far from home, is where no one deserves to be. *Recommended ages 15+. Based in the 'Wayne Family Adventures' universe (not including chapter 7, that's a joke, non-canon chapter), featuring plots, characters and timeline factors from other DC movies, universes and comics, but some original concepts for certain, small DC characters. (I own nothing, it's fanfic. Cover photo is the Webtoon art with a stock image. All belong to their respective creators/companies.) Strong language, violence and implied sexual or intense situations. Brace yourself; that's the trigger warning.
