I softly traced his lips with my finger and then slowly leaned forward until our lips were so close that I could feel his warm breath on my skin. I leaned in a little closer and pressed my lips against his. It's been a year since the accident. A year since Jamie lost his sight and Katherine died. They say that time heals all wounds but not for Aiden. The guilt is consuming him and no matter what he does or what anybody says he can't seem to forgive himself. The Difference Between Being Alone and Being Lonely
Aiden likes being alone. He likes watching movies alone, walking alone, reading a book alone, likes listening to music alone. But when he notices a son and his father together or when he sees a couple hand in hand. He realizes that yeah he likes being alone but he doesn't really enjoy the thought of being lonely. But maybe just maybe that'll change for 17 year old Aiden when he bumps into a boy and that said boy tries to make Aiden not feel so lonely.
