She lightly dragged the sword down the center of his chest. His blood pooled around the tip of the sword and shone against his pale skin.
"What do you think?" She whispered to him. He shook under her presence. She drained the life out of him, but he couldn't manage let her go.
She bent over his lean frame and brushed her soft lips against his ear. "Will you stay with me forever?" She paused, waiting for his answer while skimming her hand against his 5 o'clock shadow.
"I'll stay," he gasped. "I'll stay with you forever." He brought his shaky hand up to meet hers.
"Good," she stated. "You didn't have a choice."

She said seductively and his grin widen, he knew she wasn't in her right mind now, her mermaid being had taken over but that's what her being wants and he wanted to see what would happen when she gains conscious. And what she looked like, how she took her coffee, everything. He couldn't get her out of his head. She was his muse, a glimpse into the impossible where he may finally have something to write about. But what happens when inspiration turns into love, especially with someone who is unable to reciprocate it? Does tragedy or intimacy await them? What is destiny, really?

He watched as her eyes skimmed over his dark eyes and black hair with barely a reaction. He felt his pride twinge a bit so he went further. Lifting his hands, he let the blood drip from them. Her eyes widened slightly and her chin rose. She looked at his hands then back at him. His dark eyes gleamed in a challenge. "You've not harmed me or mine, faery." She spoke out loud. "Blood does not scare me and neither do you. Keep your dog on its leash." Then she turned and calmly walked back inside. Intrigued now, he went to the window of the house and watched as she reassured her mother that the dog was gone "I'll see you tonight, reckless child." He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise. He lifted his hand and touched the ring that had been her last gift. It had been decades, but it was yesterday. ***I did not skimp on the steamy scenes so consider yourselves warned ok? UNDENIABLY DESTINED
Her vision blurry, eyes teary, ears ringing, as her head starts buzzing from the hard impact. She watches, as the red shining droplet falls and taints everything in its own darkness. She hears muffled voices, just as she feels a tingling sensation when she realises a hand on her shoulder and it's owner. A sob leaves her lips, when she realises what she has to do. His voice sounds in her ears, as she memorizes that baritone for the last time directed to her, "Are you okay?", with care. She pulls her hand, gathering her energy as silent pained tears falls down her face concentrating her powers. Suddenly, he jerks and falls stiff on his back, unable to move his body. His eyes widened as he registers what she is going to do, all while whispering, "No, no, please don't...". Grabbing a tree, she stands up painfully slow with tears running down her face uncontrollably. She takes a step towards him and sits on his torso, as she wails for everything happened to him and for everything she could have had, but now can't. To the Gods, for cursing her with her damned destiny. He slowly cups her face, and joins their heads released from the powers unknown to her, as he comforts her, "Don't worry, we will be over this, together." Her sobs turns quiet, just when suddenly again his body jerk back in same position, as she apologize, "Sorry, but I can't be selfish enough, not for you, for me and for us." As she slams her fisted kuckles down his head again and again.Complete

She gazed into her dark brown eyes with lust and pain. A rose as red as her tainted lips she'd put behind her ear, still holding it there, never wanting to let go. She put her forehead against hers as she whispered "You're just like a rose, beautiful but when you come too close you sting, not wanting others to see the pain behind your beauty. But you know what, I'm not scared, I won't give up on you no matter how much you make me bleed." She looked deep in thought, biting her lip and raising one of her eyebrows, and finally, she pressed her tainted lips against hers, letting their lips collide. They knew, that now, they would forever crave each others touch, they were in too deep. They'd fallen too hard. Never did they expect that their story wouldn't end there, and that years later they would be telling this exact story to none other than their own kids.
