Winslow Gait is cool, structured, and above the more petty emotions of life. A publisher at a prominent Manhattan agency, Winslow is in control of her life and her heart-which she keeps under strict rule. There isn't much that can shake her composure or catch her off guard.
Or so she thought.
When she wakes up from a coma in a sterile white hospital bed, she is greeted by her cherished younger sister, her boyfriend of five years, and the baby she's been carrying for five months. She and the baby are healthy, and her loved ones are ready and willing to help her recovery.
The only problem is, she has no recollection of the perfect life she built for herself.
The violent head trauma that put her to sleep for nearly two months has left her with amnesia and no memory of her baby, or the baby's father. Rattled and unsure for the first time in years, Winslow struggles to adjust to the new world she woke up in. With only four months to come to terms with her pregnancy and retrieve enough of herself to be a good mom, Winslow unlocks parts of herself that have been long buried.
Amnesia of the brain has stolen Winslow's memories, but Winslow finds that she suffered a different form of amnesia long before any physical injury.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
