Elsie is a quiet girl, so far-removed from her twin that she barely considers her a relative.
She is often dragged around by Carmen (her twin), often joining them in their explorations of the forest that surrounds their small town.

This time, she hears something. Or someone.

Oscar has been locked away in his family's decaying home for many years. Unable to move from the pain in his limbs, he sits in silence in his room, watching out of the window, waiting for them to return home to him.
He didn't know that they fled, leaving him to die due to the shame of what they had created.
