He was the devil in disguise. All of my nightmares come true in real life. As my heart slammed against my ribs, my chest heaved as my lungs begged for oxygen, and my eyes burned from unshed tears. He stood there amongst the crowd, a smirk playing at his lips his hand held up in a teasing round of applause as everyone else stayed silent. Turning on my heel ignoring my body's protests I sprinted from the place I was forbidden to be. His green eyes pierced deeply into my soul threatening to uncover every single secret I vowed to take to the grave with me. Sinner, his name fits his personality. He didn't care for laws, personal space, or orders. The word no seemed to spur him on instead of deterring him.
My brothers hid me from this life after I almost tore their world apart, and here Sinner was thrusting me back into the spotlight where I had no place even attempting to belong. He pushed me to my breaking point, then forced me to fight against everything I knew and everyone I loved. As my world twisted and turned, threatening to fall apart before it had truly begun I had to rely on a boy, who hated me with a passion and frequently cursed me to the fiery depths of hell, to help me survive as everyone else tried to destroy me

37 parts Complete

Raven Collins has an enemy: her best friend's twin brother. The only problem? That very same twin brother blames Raven for his twin's death, as well as the rest of her town. While she struggles to uncover the truth surrounding Adam's mysterious drowning, she also has to fend off budding feelings for her high school tormentor, but when he decides to join her in the hunt for answers, their connection becomes all the more real. While the romantic lines become blurred and they are faced with more questions than answers, can Raven control her heart long enough to find out the truth of what really happened to her best friend, or will she be consumed with the undercurrent that threatens to drag her, and everyone else, down right along with her drowned best friend? Trigger Warning: mild language, mild sexual content.
