SPOILERS!  When  Shiro was presumed dead, team voltron entered a faulty wormhole, that had scattered them all across the galaxies.  Keith had been ejected out of the castle without red lion, who was at the moment damaged, therefore making them unable to find him. The Garrison have been trying to get in contact with the Paladins for years now, unaware that those who they need to rescue them, are the ones in need of rescuing. Different situation to the end of season six and of season seven. I know this isn't what happens, but this is a Fanfic, not the actual thing. Go to Netflix if you can't handle this, but seriously. I own nothing but storyline and plot, everything else goes to Netflix.
