Zoo

I am a lion I am a tiger I am an elephant I am a giraffe i am a zebra I am a chimpanzee I am an ape I am a hippo I am a rhino I am a wolf I am caged I am trapped,I have no space to run or walk or be with my family I was taken I am caged i am trapped I am watched,watched by a predator stronger than any other they took me from my family my pack my herd my flock they take pictures of me they mock me, they take pictures of me fascinated by me I was once in the wild space to run space to be free space to hunt space to be me humans,humans took me they poached me for my fur my tusks my horns I was once free the humans watch me watch me all day ,i pretend to sleep so the humans walk on and stop looking but more and more come, at night time I awake I think about the ways I can break out and regain my freedom night time doesn't stay enough the vicious cycle of humans coming to see my always comes again they throw me my food over my cage I can't say how many times I've walked around my small cage this is insanity I think, thinking about how I used to be I can't help but feel sorry for the animals born here they've never been free I can't seem to wait for the day all animals come together and break out I can't wait for the place called a zoo to be banished and never heard of again, I am a lion I am a tiger I am an elephant I am a giraffe i am a zebra I am a chimpanzee I am an ape I am a hippo I am a rhino I am a wolf I am caged I am trapped.
